      Description

I took this image a couple years ago. The data features the "famous" 294MC pink bloats over the background. I didn't face this issue before and I've learned how to avoid it later, but this data set was a real trouble.
This it the way it looked after staking (extremely stretched and starless):

I failed curing this at postprocessing because I've always been loosing the color of the reflection nebulae. So I made a crop which is a bit easier to fix the bloats and posted it here.

This time I decided to make another attempt. The idea is to filter a 40-pixel Low-pass sub-image from my wider view photo of the region. This low-pass data substitutes the original low-pass layer of the fequency-separated image. The result is correct color and large-scale details while hi-res detail and color are preserved from the original image.
Frequency separation is a well-known technique. It works very well when it comes to the complicated gradients and other background issues once you have a wider field of view image.

P.S. Generally I post my images with North up or left. This image is rotated 180 deg, the North is right, because I like the composition better

      Clear and peaceful skies!
